Executive Director for the CEO

This role is designed to provide senior support directly to the President & CEO of Maxar Technologies and the Executive Leadership Team. Working closely with the CEO and the CEO’s direct reports, efficiently and effectively lead and contribute to manage processes, track strategic initiatives, coordinate and validate results, and conduct business analysis.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives with the executive leadership team
- Ensure all staff assignments and priorities are addressed efficiently and on a timely basis, and keep track of progress until resolved
- Work with the CEO to develop and coordinate agenda and presentations for the quarterly Board of Directors and Committee meetings
- Coordinate the weekly staff meetings, monthly and quarterly business reviews including agenda and follow up items
- Organize responsive and efficient customer trips, events, and interactions and follow up from same
- Prepare monthly financial and competitive analysis
- Prepare quarterly all-hands presentations and other executive presentations as required
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives as assigned and measure progress activity
- Assess inquiries directed to the CEO, determine the proper course of action and direct to the appropriate individual to manage
- Perform project research and present findings
- Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and other staff on issues important to the CEO
- Work closely and in alignment with the CEO’s executive assistant
- Other projects as assigned by the CEO
Basic Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (MBA strongly preferred)
- 5-10 years of gradual experience
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- US Citizenship

- Aerospace or technology industry knowledge preferred

- Well-developed executive presence and professional acumen

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
