About the Role
The Director of Strategic Account Manager is responsible for all tactical and operational aspects related to strategic account management and client satisfaction. In collaboration with the broader OrthoSuccess team, this role ensures an excellent experience for our clients, and the nurturing of a growing base of raving fans. He or she provides oversight of account managers to ensure success of all OrthoFi programs across all markets. This role is key to shaping the future of OrthoFi. The Director's strategic acumen, relationship building skills, and client prowess is critical to our acceleration.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Build positive and lasting relationships with all key clients; see that strong relationships are being developed at other levels within each client group
Develop strategies and tactics to engage newly onboarded customers. Identify appropriate decision makers and stakeholders, and build trusted relationships.
Provide input from current and future clients to inform product development efforts and company strategy.
Interact with marketing, sales, customer support, and product teams to coordinate resources needed to be successful.
Lead, manage and plan clients strategies as well as take responsibility for "bottom-line" budget accountability
Handle all issues related to clients and be able to recognize additional opportunities within accounts to expand the business.
Responsible for understanding the company vision and translating that to tactical plans to deliver on that vision for their area(s)
Supports and grows a positive culture, including but not limited to providing direct and timely feedback, a safe environment where the best ideas win.
Drives a people first agenda throughout the entire organization
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven ability to accomplish impressive goals in the face of adversity and complexity
5-7 years of prior account management experience including leadership experience
Proven performance track record in account management
Proven leadership skills, especially in situations where you had to influence and lead people outside of your organization.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven poise, presentation and negotiation skills suitable to all levels from junior staff to executives.
Independent self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude. Love to learn new things quickly.
A reality based leader, that is accountable for the engagement and personal accountability of their team(s)
Healthcare experience a plus

This position will include a competitive salary and benefits, and may be eligible to earn stock options based on individual contribution and company performance. Compensation commensurate with experience.
