Accelo is looking for a Director of Operations to join our international leadership team at a fast growing SaaS startup! This person will be a truly cross-functional player, working with leaders and teams in marketing, sales, success, product and peers in finance, people and talent.

Working closely with the CEO, this role is envisaged to play a key part in helping to define, track, report and advise on the many special projects we are running (and want to run) to dramatically accelerate our success and, in doing so, build a world class operational cadence and performance. If you're someone who has exceptional attention to detail, loves trying to overcome ambiguous and frequently changing challenges, works well with a diverse group of high performers, and is able to bring both an analytical and pragmatically tactical perspective to problem solving, we'd love to work together to build one of the world's best B2B SaaS companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and synthesize client-facing operations from marketing acquisition through to upgrade and renewal, ensuring that bottlenecks are known and addressed by working cross-functionally through Marketing, Sales, Success and Finance teams.

  • Manage the ongoing cadence of alignment, prioritization and accountability (OKRs) and play a key part in supporting the CEO and other executives to keep the organization accountable for quarterly goals.

  • Lead executive-level special projects in relation to corporate development, investment and strategic partners, drawing on necessary internal and external resources to support the CEO and other executives in the pursuit of these special projects from time to time.

  • Identify and prioritize strategic opportunities to drive growth across the organization, optimize the business, and establish learning within the culture.

  • Participate in the review processes and workflow to diagnose areas for improvement, then executing on plans for improvement.

  • Own data collection, normalization, and reporting that allows functional departments to monitor their performance and drill down to identify / analyze improvement opportunities.

  • Facilitate functional optimization by partnering with functional leaders to optimize processes and metrics within their departments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a senior operations role in thriving SaaS start-up with high growth and scale.

  • Several years managing people / teams that analyze data / metrics, conduct gap analyses, create process maps, develop action plans, and lead cross-functional efforts. History of leading successful projects that have significantly impacted businesses. Examples of job profiles that match these experience requirements:

  • Director or senior manager of strategy or business operations at a technology-driven, process-oriented company

  • Chief-of-Staff at a SaaS startup with a focus on operations and problem-solving

  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly while dealing with multiple people, teams, projects, and priorities.

  • Entrepreneurial personality who understands operational management and enjoys diving into the details of operations and finance to represent our mission.

  • Continuous focus towards the success of the company, employees and stakeholders.

  • Someone who is just the right amount of crazy to join a high performing startup, and is innately comfortable and energized by working in an environment of rapid change and limited supervision.
