Job Duties and Responsibilities
The DISH commercial sales team is growing to support the future growth of the company. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Business, the Director of Sales for the Hospitality Vertical will manage all sales and account management functions for the Hospitality vertical, focused on the acquisition, retention and monetization of DISH Network business to business customers. The Director will provide strategic and tactical leadership for the DISH hospitality sales team, and manage the existing sales revenue through retaining existing customers. The Director will manage the annual revenue growth expectations by growing existing customer revenue and acquiring new direct customers and indirect partners.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the sales team for the hospitality vertical
- Develop new sales relationships both direct and indirect
- Partner closely with DISH hospitality integrator partners to develop and grow market share
- Manage the existing customers, driving to increase the revenue and margin
- Oversee expansion of partners and customers that will profitably grow DISH hospitality vertical revenue
- Be an ambassador for the DISH Business brand by representing at trade shows and industry events
- Maintain a deep understanding of current and future needs of the sales channels supported
- Work cross-functionally across DISH Business organization and matrixed organizations of DISH TV (i.e. IT, Marketing, Finance, DTC)
- Partner closely with DISH product development and 5G Wireless teams on future technology needs
- Build relationships with senior leadership of all hotel brands to expand market share
- Work closely with DISH marketing teams to develop creative ads
- Other duties as required
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years at the manager level.
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Experience leading high performing sales teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively and influence with all levels of management and staff.
- Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, results driven, rapidly changing environment - with minimal daily oversight.
- A bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of time depending on business demands
Salary Range
Compensation: $150,000.00/Year - $200,000.00/Year
