We are seeking a Customer Success eCommerce Specialist to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.

What you get to do:

As a Customer Success eCommerce Specialist, you will be a critical part of Uplight Customer Success organization, responsible for supporting day-to-day activities of Uplight’s eCommerce operations. On behalf of our utility clients, Uplight provides a full end to end eCommerce platform and service and manage all aspects of running an eCommerce online store for the sales of energy efficiency products. Our services include an online retail solution, multi-channel marketing, vendor management, fulfillment, and customer service. The Specialist position represents a growth opportunity within Uplight’s organization, with exposure to both internal and external activities. A critical aspect of the Specialist role will entail working collaboratively with Uplight’s Consumer Operations and Utility Operations squads to deliver measurable value for our clients.

Combining your interest in energy, utilities, and eCommerce you will focus on executing the tasks necessary to make our customers eCommerce platforms successful. This includes: organizing customer-facing activities; identifying, designing, and implementing cross-squad process improvements, analyzing and presenting program results and updates.  You will work closely with Customer Success Managers to coordinate operations across eCommerce operational teams (customer service, reporting, marketing ops) to ensure our customers’ platform and marketing programs’ operational excellence.

What you will contribute:

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

What you bring to Uplight:

  • At least 2 years of experience in business systems analysis, project management, or customer success, preferably within consumer-facing SaaS solutions.
  • Background and interest in exploring new technologies
  • Desire to design and execute process improvements
  • Natural affinity for working across departments to drive cross-functional workstreams to completion 
  • An independent thinker who proactively identifies issues, interdependencies, and solutions.
  • You care about energy, its impact on our clients, their customers, and the world.
