Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities
● This position performs a variety of clerical duties around the operations of a branch, department, or warehouse facility.
● Compiling and distributing standard reports for inventory, freight, handling, past due invoices, billing, etc.
● Additional duties can include phone coverage, mail sorting and distribution, mailing product samples.
● May also cover for other support positions.
● Responsible for the day-to-day sales support and customer service activities for assigned accounts.
● Performs sales support functions to provide the highest level of service and customer satisfaction while maintaining efficiencies in corporate operational processes and procedures.
● Serves as a liaison between Arrow’s internal resources (field sales, engineering, supplier marketing, manufacturing facilities, purchasing, and other corporate departments), vendor resources, and customers.
● Demonstrates a proactive approach and sense of urgency on our customers’ behalf, anticipates our customers’ requirements, and communicates efforts in a timely and effective manner.
● Creates influential customer, supplier, and internal relationships.
●Assist the sales organization by managing the day-to-day operations within their consignment accounts, including Purchase Order receipts and consignment sales order billings.
● Schedule inventory counts within the consignment locations on a regular basis (running inventory focus reports and count sheets).
● Work with sales to reconcile any inventory discrepancies at the consignment location doing inventory adjustments, writing off inventory, etc.
● Organize and prioritize various other duties, including Focus reporting, tracking and reporting of unacknowledged branch transfers, product allocations for billings, issuing credits and re-bill requests, and other various Operations responsibilities.
● Assist the sales team in setting up part numbers in their consignment locations.
● Work with Sales and Finance to close consignment locations.
Experience / Education
Typically requires a 2 year degree and 1-2 years of experience; or high school graduate with equivalent work related experience
