Our Marketing team is growing and excited to bring our digital advertising campaigns in-house with our new Digital Marketing Manager role. The ideal candidate for this position has in-depth SEM knowledge with vast experience running PPC, paid social, display and retargeting campaigns. This individual will be responsible for owning the entire SEM strategy, including building and launching campaigns, as well as ongoing management, optimization, testing and reporting.
This individual will work closely with our in-house Content Writer and Graphic Designer to develop attention-grabbing, on-brand ads that convert. You will also become close pals with our Marketing Operations Specialist as you work together to build highly targeted lists ensuring your campaigns are hitting prospects throughout the funnel.
To excel in this position, you should possess in-depth knowledge of digital B2B marketing, skew more left-brained and have a knack for problem solving. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about optimization and testing and driven for constant improvement, never settling a 2% click through rate or conversion rate that’s “good enough”. Seeing that digital marketing best practices change faster than Colorado’s weather, we’re looking for someone who enjoys staying on top of the latest SEM news and trends, always looking for new strategies, mediums and betas to test.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Manage all SEM programs, including but not limited to: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads, Google Display and retargeting platforms
- Build, launch and manage campaigns for overall online advertising strategy as well as one-off promotions, tradeshows, product releases, etc.
- Own and manage digital advertising budget, ensuring we’re not over or underspending each month
- Continuously optimize campaigns to improve click through rates, decrease CPCs and CPLs and drive more MQLs
- Develop in-depth keyword list for PPC programs and work with our Content Writer to ensure our paid and organic strategies complement each other
- Work closely with our Content Writer and Graphic Designer to build eye-catching ads that convey our why, demand our prospect’s attention and most importantly, drive leads
- Work with our Marketing Operations Specialist to build lists based on personas, industries and lead stage to use in highly targeted digital marketing campaigns
- Create conversion-driven campaigns focused on driving content and marketing qualified leads and progressing prospects through the funnel
- Run A/B tests focused on improving everything from click through rates to conversions
- Stay on top of industry news and trends, looking for new mediums, ad types and betas to test
- Develop, maintain and present dashboard reports tracking the ongoing performance of all paid digital marketing campaigns
THE EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:
- 3+ years’ experience in a digital marketing or search engine marketing role
- Advanced proficiency building, launching and managing campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and various retargeting platforms such as AdRoll
- Exceptional testing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, budgets and assignments
- Google Ads Certification preferred
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and other reporting tools such as Bizible
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently, while still being able to collaborate with team members
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, significant work experience can substitute for the degree
