The HRIS & People Operations Manager is responsible for leading the People Operations function and partnering with leaders and other stakeholders; managing four areas: People & Talent technology ecosystem, People Portal (service center), HRIS, and People Analytics.
How You'll Do It
Manage the People Portal

    • Manage the People Portal, Pie's service center for all things People-related.
    • Create SLAs for service expectations.
    • Conduct data analysis to detect trends and create greater efficiencies.


Manage the People & Talent technology ecosystem

    • Create a roadmap for growth of the P &T technology ecosystem.
    • Determine dependencies, understand integrations, and reduce redundancies within the technology ecosystem.


Own the HRIS and processes within it

    • Act as the primary point of contact for all things related to the HRIS.
    • Oversee vendor selection process for new HRIS.
    • Manage design and implementation of new HRIS.


Develop People Analytics

    • In collaboration with the VP, People Operations, establish a roadmap for the development of people analytics.
    • Drive a data-first approach to understanding and maximizing team member experience throughout the team member lifecycle.


Lead the People Operations team

    • Manage two direct reports with potential to grow the team in 2022.
    • Provide direction, feedback, and coaching for the operations team.


The Right Stuff

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with some college coursework is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3+ years experience in people operations and/or HRIS is required.
    • 2+ years of director or demonstrated leadership is required.
    • Experience leading at least 1 enterprise HRIS implementation required.
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or HRCI certification is preferred.
    • Intermediate communication (written and verbal) skills, to deliver more complex information effectively.
    • Intermediate problem solving skills to be able to manage complex tasks and work through to solutions with little guidance and direction.
    • Intermediate awareness of your own tasks, and how it impacts the team and deliverables.
    • Basic leadership skills and some general experience leading work groups or task forces in specific projects.
    • G-Suite Tools, Collaboration tools (Slack is preferred).
    • Excel, HRIS (Namely; BambooHR; WD), ATS, LMS, and other People tools for engagement, performance, etc.

We value and want to support our team members, and are proud to offer a comprehensive compensation package which includes the following:
Base compensation range for position: $120,000 - $153,000
Each year Pie reviews company performance and may grant discretionary bonuses to eligible team members.

This role has the option to be hybrid or remote. Hybrid work locations provide team members with the flexibility of working partially from our Denver or DC office and from home. Remote team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
