Senior Security EngineerPosition Summary

The Senior Security Engineer position at DispatchHealth will best fit a skilled Information Security generalist. At DispatchHealth we're rapidly maturing our security posture, and need someone with a good understanding of modern cloud-based environments. This role will help us maintain the controls necessary to keep our infrastructure, our employees, and our data secure.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage intrusion detection tooling
  • Help detect and remediate vulnerabilities in our infrastructure
  • Help define and implement security best practices in our cloud environments
  • Help to design and implement strong incident response technologies and practices
  • Work with our colleagues in IT, engineering, and in our clinical practice to ensure the safety of our clients' data
  • Mentoring and training more junior members of the security team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in information security
  • Experience in production cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of incident response procedures and best practices
  • Strong automation skills in Python, Ruby, or other scripting languages
  • Strong understanding of OS-level security controls for Windows and Linux
  • Deep understanding of common vulnerabilities and how to remediate them
  • Familiarity with Web Application Firewall (WAF) management
  • Experience with enterprise IAM solutions such as Okta or Auth0

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with HIPAA
  • Experience with PCI
  • Experience with HITRUST





The pay range for this position in Colorado is $150,000 - $190,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience. This role can be located anywhere in the US.
