Job Description
We are looking for a versatile, full stack, Senior Software Developer who can build and drive scalable services. Not only will you be responsible for development, but you will also help us staff and influence our growing development team. The best candidate will have 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Web Development stack (C#, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Web API) and SQL Server. We are also looking for candidates that have experience with ASP.net core, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SPA applications, client side libraries (Angular, Kendo, jQuery, Bootstrap), mobile development (Xamarin), and no-SQL/document data stores. Candidates should have demonstrated experience leading development teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, code and debug both new and existing platforms implementing SOLID principles
Provide expert competency to carry out or participate in system design and/or problem analysis
Analyze, review and direct the modification of new and existing systems to increase operating efficiencies and scalability
Mentor current development staff and provide leadership in the design, development and maintenance of products
Support developers by working with product owners and team members to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases and translate that into effective technical solutions
Streamline processes to enable continuous deployment of features (dev ops)
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of development experience and a desire to lead and coach highly motivated development teams
Extensive experience with C#, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Web API, SQL Server, Unit Testing, Xamarin and/or a mobile first product strategy
Experience developing Modern Web Applications (SPA, Angular, etc.) with modern development tools (Visual Studio, Node.js, NPM, Bower, Gulp/Grunt, WebPack)
Proven experience with continuous integration processes
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Effective communication and leadership skills a must
