Job Profile
An effective Senior Manager, Application Developer should be an expert in problem-solving, critical thinking, and implementing an Agile Development Methodology. In this role, the IT Project Manager will gain a deep understanding of our current applications and business processes at an accelerated pace and take responsibility for teaching self and asking thoughtful questions of management. The Senior Manager, Application Developer will operate as the main point of contact with stakeholders and requesters to identify requirements, dependencies, and timelines between technical and business teams. Works closely with our Development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure business goals are being met. Manages projects and feature requests from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead the engineering team to design, build, deploy and support internal project management web application with a global focus
Have a strong understanding of software/system development with proven experience managing DevOps-driven software teams
Grow and manage development engineers that are responsible for developing and maintaining internal software
Be responsible for mentoring and developing engineers focusing on our Go To Market Applications
Develop and improve the processes needed to successfully balance requirements from multiple requestors and product owners
Qualifications, Skillset and experience required:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and/or Advanced degree in Computer science
7+ years of experience as a systems/software engineer working on challenging software projects
4+ years of experience building and leading successful software/systems development teams in agile environments
Knowledge of min. one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python or C#) as well as practical experience with Service Oriented Architectures
Experience with SalesForce and NodeJS Microservices run in Docker on Heroku/AWS
Experience with React and front end state manager
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experienced in agile and waterfall project management
People management, career management and mentoring experience of handling a group of 5+ skilled resources
Project management experience with agile development methodology
Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
Understanding of DevOps philosophy and its practical execution
In-depth experience with any SalesForce or related technologies
CO pay range: $98,700 - $155,000
