This position will have good management skills as both DevOps and IT groups will report to this individual. Developing KPIs and reporting to C-level executives will be strong skill for this individual.All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and expand the core platform team to support and grow the DevOps environment, working closely with cross functional teams like Product Management and Development
- Work with CTO to deliver a clear technology improvement in Production and IT Projects that support FRONTSTEPS' products
- Ensure industry best practice is being adopted in terms of Infrastructure Architecture, Continuous Delivery, and Integration; Deployment; Security; 3rd level Support and Test automation
- Take personal ownership of all Production System reporting and operations for the customer and ensure that all works meets user objectives
- Execute the agreed upon technology strategy
- Play an active part in the continuous improvement of quality processes and standards to ensure that the global organization provides efficient, high quality and cost-effective solution development that supports an iterative development methodology and a dynamic business; actively promote quality throughout division and ensure the quality of all deliverables
- Performs other duties as requested by management
TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong agile development background and history of building teams to work in highly agile, cross-functional environments
- Must be comfortable leading and motivating remote teams, ensuring that modern technology and process are implemented
- Proven background leading similarly experienced DevOps and IT teams delivering high performance; highly available and resilient applications and infrastructures
- Good people and line management skills and the ability to recruit and develop a high performing team
- Solid technical background, with hands-on experience in automated, agile environments delivering infrastructure, monitoring, and tooling to software platforms
- A track record of delivering infrastructure and supporting services utilizing
- Extensive experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and related technologies
REMOTE OPPORTUNITYThis role is eligible for remote work in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, MD, MA, MI, MN, NV, NC, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WI. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. Occasional meetings may be required in Denver headquarters. Benefits include the following:
