What You'll Do

Your job is to execute the tactical plan for a project by managing the set of work and team resources (engineers, test). You are responsible for delivering a high-quality product on time ensuring both functional and nonfunctional requirements (Usability, Reliability, Performance, and Supportability) be released in the product. 
You will execute a tactical plan (milestone, epic, stories, arch, tech debt) with support from your Director. You are responsible for making your team productive and happy while helping them manage their careers. You will understand how to get the best from each team member by knowing their strengths, challenges, and motivations. You work for a Director of Product Development and are responsible for keeping him/her informed and productive.

What You'll Need

  • Passion combined with humility.
  • Senior level software engineering experience, experience in automated testing and process improvement.
  • Experience as a leader within a technical organization; this can include technical leadership, people leadership, and project leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills that demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with continuous delivery.
  • An acute focus on people development, job mastery, and continuous learning.
  • Travel is typically 25% and domestic.
