Our Education Services team is dedicated to providing customers with on-demand training content that is easy to access, navigate and consume. As an Instructional Designer on our Education Services team, you will be responsible for the creating and producing engaging learning experiences and compelling course content for our external customers, partners, and Global Services team. Key responsibilities include analysis and discovery, design and development, implementation and production and assessment and evaluation. The person in this role must be able to work with a variety of individuals at various levels across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Identifying target audiences and their learning objectives
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of the content to be delivered and how the acquired knowledge and/or skills apply to the learners' job
  • Gathering relevant materials through various subject matter experts, online materials or other resources to ensure content meets defined objectives
  • Evaluating content for clarity, flow, and logic
  • Developing curriculum outline and objectives, identifying major topics based on a current knowledge base of audience and preferred learning flow and logical sequencing
  • Creating attention-capturing, meaningful content and presenting it an online or classroom environment
  • Maintaining an understanding of learning principles and the ability to apply them to the development and delivery of learning experiences
  • Continually updating curriculum as needed

What You'll Need:

  • B.A./B.S. degree in instructional design, education technology or comparable degree
  • Minimum of 3 years instructional design experience required; 5+ years experience in technology or software curriculum
  • Must have working knowledge and experience in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, Backward Design, SAM)
  • Strong background in video production preferred
  • Graphic Design skills are a plus
  • Voice Talent is a plus
  • High proficiency in utilizing one or more course authoring tools (Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia)
  • High proficiency in utilizing multi-media design tools including - Adobe Creative Suite (after effects, premier, illustrator, audition) strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, being assertive and effective in engaging people, and the ability to work against tight deadlines with a high quality of work.
