What You'll Do:
Join our dynamic team as a Deal Desk Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in driving successful sales operations. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with sales teams to assemble proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies. As a key liaison between sales and finance, you will review and when needed, resolve billing errors and discrepancies. Additionally, you will lead change management efforts for the implementation of a new Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system, streamlining processes for greater efficiency.
We're looking for a results obsessed, tech savvy, process and detail-oriented trailblazer to further accelerate revenue growth. You will be a valued contributor to SambaSafety's development and success.This is a high-visibility role across the Sales organization and critical to driving revenue retainment and high-growth.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing timely proposals, quotes and contracts in line with terms of customer and/or partner agreements.
  • Expected to become a Super User/Subject Matter Expert for quoting customers using CPQ systems
  • Comfort with quoting complex contracts for multiple products with usage and price increases
  • Serve as trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure, contracting options, margin analysis and approval processes.
  • Supervise email requests, tickets, and questions received via several paths and taking the correct action on them in a timely fashion.
  • Acts as the first point of escalation and approval on complex quoting questions including ones on non-standard requests and pricing.
  • Help evaluate non-standard contract terms and identify relevant accounting, billing, and operational impacts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors, discrepancies, and issues that arise during the quoting process in Salesforce CPQ and DocuSign.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams with Revenue Recognition, Commissions, Legal and Collections for all sales, billing and provisioning related issues as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of processes, guidelines, and best practices related to deal desk operations.
  • Ensure approvals for non-standard deals have been properly documented, escalated to the right approval levels, and resolved within reasonable time frames.
  • Assist Management with monthly reporting, including deal metrics, deal success and other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Become a subject matter expert on deal operations and the revenue accounting cycle to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Assist with finding and routing RFP's and bidding opportunities
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned when needed to support Revenue Operations and the business.
  • Capture, maintain, and disseminate accurate and relevant information using Salesforce.

  • Highly organized, customer-focused and strong attention to detail
  • Tech savvy with experience with Salesforce, DocuSign, JIRA, Adobe, MS Office and Zuora is a plus.
