Third-Party Data Management Analyst

Markit Digital, an IHS Markit company, is hiring a Third-Party Data Management Analyst. You will have the opportunity to work in a professional environment with high profile companies in the finance industry. You will partner closely with our third-party partners, Client Success and Content Acquisition and Rights Management organizations to facilitate the relationship between our clients and the providers of the data they consume.
What you'll do at Markit Digital
As the Third-Party Data Management Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the data that Markit Digital consumes. You will manage the budget for this data, communicate incremental costs to internal teams and facilitate relationships between the data providers and our clients.
Core responsibilities
- Maintain and update database of all third-party data and which clients are licensing it, either directly or indirectly
- Understand rights and fees for each third-party data set and be able communicate it to internal teams and clients
- Participate in annual budget process by verifying needed third-party data expenses
- Facilitate third-party data vendor audits
- Stay abreast of changes in third-party data rights and fee changes, and communicate those to internal teams and clients, as appropriate
Job qualifications include:
- Expertise in data rights and management
- Excellent communication skills;
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years’ work experience
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Independently motivated
