About the team
FIS’ Global Business Resilience organization is seeking a high caliber, entrepreneurially-minded Principal Crisis Management (CM) Analyst who enjoys making a difference in a high growth company. The Senior CM Analyst will have a passion for driving impactful global business resilience planning along with the desire to relentlessly champion best practices in a high-volume, dynamic environment. This role will support the execution of the Crisis Management program across the global organization.
What you will be doing
Coordinating and sending out all program related communications to key stakeholders at each phase of the cycle (e.g. annual program kick-off, crisis training and exercising), and tracking all RSVPs for program meetings.
Responding proactively to all FIS incidents as needed or assigned, which could be after hours and weekends
Working with CM Senior Director and team to develop and track annual program activities on centralized calendar
Maintaining all team membership updates in MIR3, Wallet Reference Guides, Distribution Lists and BIRPs
Support CM activations by sending MIR3 notifications, meeting invitations, attending meetings to track attendance and support Incident Action Plan reviews for accuracy
Ownership of specific offices and the end to end CM program cycle management for those offices
Help execute the CM program by tracking and scheduling exercises and distributing documentation and filing results
Tracking and ensuring all CM plans are developed/updated, working with the CM team
Coordinating and planning the CM exercises including scheduling, ensuring materials are ready and shipped to location and tracking exercise participants and results by CM plan.
Manage and track CM exercise action items to resolution.
Supporting all CM compliance and regulatory reporting requirements as necessary
Maintain Event Audit Repository to ensure accuracy and completeness
Provide program statistics as needed for management reporting
Championing CM awareness throughout the enterprise
Understand types of audits that the organization is subject to. Collaborate with audit and other departments to maintain currency of information and adhere to compliance requirements
Work with the Education and Awareness team to execute preparedness events (e.g. PrepareAthons)
Position will require some off-hour, on-call support (on an as needed basis)
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree
Industry certification preferred but not necessary (MBCI, ABCP or CBCP)
3-5 years of experience in a BCM/ITDR/CM environment and/or Payments industry business, military/public agency, crisis communications experience
Must be a detail-oriented individual with a unrelenting commitment to accuracy
Strong project management skills; PMP a plus
Must possess a strong track record of collaboration and teamwork beyond direct-line reporting to ensure efficient relationship with ITDR and CM teams as well as business unit staff across the enterprise
Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high pressured environment
Highly developed problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to effectively communicate to various levels of management and staff across the enterprise
High level of personal initiative, creativity and self-motivation
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at various organizational levels
