An Insider's view of Maxwell

What does your typical day look like?

My typical day is spent acting as a liaison between our clients and internal teams. As our client base grows, a big part of my role is to gather and leverage data to ensure that. As a team, we are being proactive in resolving issues, hitting goals, and exceeding expectations of our clients to deliver world class customer experience.

What makes someone successful on your team?

Success is truly earned by taking ownership of your role, consistently remaining curious about the mortgage industry, eagerness to learn more, and collaborating and supporting your team members. Maxwell is a team effort. Every team member’s role is crucial to our mission and vision in continuing to be innovative within the mortgage industry.

Lindsay

Account Executive

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

We’ve grown rapidly to over 250 people nationwide and aim to make Maxwell flat and nimble. We’re transparent with communication through frequent touchpoints, whether 1:1s, a “virtual coffee hour with the CEO” for employees, welcoming new hires, or our monthly company “All Hands".

John

Co-Founder & CEO

How does the company support your career growth?

I’ve been promoted through different teams, and every manager I’ve worked with has given me accountabilities to strive towards. These goals created space to move my career forward vs a nice thing to do. Maxwell culture encourages transparency and learning, which makes it easy to be curious and find opportunities to take on more responsibility.
