RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead innovative analytical solutions using Cloud, Big Data, and NoSQL related technologies
  • Design and implement Cloud solutions using best in the class data frameworks
  • Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements & evaluate the new features and architecture to help drive decisions
  • Build collaborative partnerships with architects and key individuals within other functional groups
  • Generate a detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments to design quality technical solutions
  • Actively participate in code review and test solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications
  • Maintain a high-performance engineering culture while mentoring team members and providing the team with tools and motivation


REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive Coding experience with programming languages such as Python, PySpark & Scala
  • Hands on experience with the AWS Cloud-Native stack (AWS Glue, AWS EMR, Athena)
  • Familiar with AWS Storage Compute, Identity and Security
  • Highly Skilled with Big Data Technologies such as Spark Core, Spark SQL, Spark ML, Kafka & Spark Streaming
  • Advanced in Data administration, configuration management, storage, integration, debugging and performance tuning
  • Proven history of building data ingestion pipelines, partaking in Data Modeling & Database architecture
  • Exposure to Cloud automation, provisioning, deploying, and administering scalable, available and fault tolerant systems
  • Deep Understanding of SQL queries, NoSQL, RDBMS Optimization & Enterprise Design Patterns
  • Familiar with of CI/CD principles, best practices & compliance awareness such as PI, GDPR and HIPAA
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
  • Comfortable working with load and IoT Data Platform architectures, infrastructures, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of different business domains & distributed computing principles
