At Zoom, we are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Threat and Vulnerability Management team. This role will be instrumental in elevating the insights and business values we can extract from the security data we are processing, better understanding of the remediation landscape, and enabling Zoom to increase its security posture, and improving our controls and procedures to further protect the infrastructure in Zoom.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building, supporting, and managing critical reporting, dashboards and insights, own data analysis and visualization, and communicating the outcomes and insights to various stakeholders to aid strategic decisions for improvements in the TVM, and remediation efforts. You will perform a variety of exploratory analyses that help the organization understand the quality and performance of our information delivery to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Must Have:

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, OR equivalent practical experience
Passion for applying analytics methods to improve mission and business decisions
Hands-on experience in data analysis and modeling, reporting, and dashboards
Ability in delivering actionable insights to stakeholders
Understand general information security and understand Information security metrics in particular
Experience in visualization tools is highly desirable
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
Develop analytical frameworks to support decision making
Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting & models
What we are looking for:
Confidence in defining and developing new OKR/KPI metrics
Ability to provide key insights and interactive analytics in near real-time to stakeholders and practitioners
Knowledge and experience applying common data science methods
Aptitude in with large datasets in relational databases, distributed systems and distributed service providers
Capability in incorporating data from multiple security solutions providers
Develop data roadmap based on current state survey of current data sets
Proficiency in working with others to identify the actionable insights to drive improvements
Prowess to present materials in a format that facilitates senior management decision making.
Strong working knowledge of data analysis and database engineering technologies etc.
This is remote position in the U.S., San Jose preferred
