As a Customer Data Analyst on Lumere's Advisory Services team you will partner closely with a cross-functional team of Lumere's medical device experts, analysts, and account managers to enable our clients to successfully lead clinically-informed sourcing and utilization initiatives.A successful candidate will be a creative problem-solver who is comfortable charting a path forward with imperfect information. They will share a passion for learning and understanding medical device technology as well as using evidence-based solutions to transform healthcare.Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Lumere's proprietary data sets
- Provide analytical decision support for multiple concurrent client initiatives focused on using evidence-based strategies to significantly reduce cost and unwarranted variation in physician preference item (PPI) use
- Manage and execute quality deliverables within timelines agreed upon with client
- Model savings strategies based on proprietary data sets, recommended best practices, and client-specific requirements
- Support RFP design, analyze vendor RFP responses, and develop award scenarios
- Enable post-implementation tracking and measurement using Lumere's solutions
- Prototype new analyses and approaches to uncover insights related to medical device spend and utilization and/or improve internal efficiencies
- 2+ years professional background in mathematics, statistics, engineering, and/or informatics
- Experience with healthcare or hospital data preferred (e.g., purchase order history, EHR)
- High degree of competence and comfort using MS Excel and SQL
- Distinctive problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong prioritization skills
- Demonstrated track record for accomplishing goals and meeting deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments; excitement to lead change
