Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: Candidate must be willing to work West Coast hours of 4pm - 12am PST/MST from Friday - Tuesday shift. The shift days may change in the future based on business needs.
About the team:
Managing the Business Communication Team for Merchant Solutions, Banking Solutions & Capital Market Platform. Specializes in handling and overseeing internal and external communications within the team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Their responsibilities typically revolve around developing strategies for better communication process for the Business Platform.
Possess an analytical mind, an ability to communicate complex ideas to senior business leaders, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth technology company. This position oversees team members globally 24/7.
What you will be doing:

  • Manages internal and external communications/escalations on incident issues
  • Analyze communications policies, procedures, and standards for efficiency and effectiveness, based on the needs of the target audience
  • Advise senior management on communications initiatives to support company objectives.
  • Consult with internal support teams to develop appropriate communications solutions and utilize communications methods and techniques to develop strategic approaches to meet client objectives
  • Act as a team advocate, establishing rapport and managing internal and external relationships
  • Engage with other internal teams (communications, quality, strategic) to gain required approval on content and accuracy
  • Plan, edit and produce content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as regular correspondence to employees & messaging from leadership
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization
  • Identify opportunities and execute communications plans for building company culture
  • Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders and represent the communications group in cross-functional teams across the company
  • Proven experience working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and also work collaboratively on a team
  • Help executives assimilate content/messaging and fine-tune delivery
  • Exceptional communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • In-depth knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for business correspondence, public relations and social media
  • Understanding of business criticality and client escalation
  • Delivers Enterprise Incident Management Communication that meets all service level agreements, e.g., 24/7 availability, response time parameters, etc. and availability targets
  • Executes company policies and practices and serves as a channel for company communications
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 5+ years of related work experience, including at least 3 years of experience proofreading and editing all facets of communications
  • Expert skills in MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Creativity and the ability to meet multiple deadlines is required
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative to ensure business goals are met and exceeded
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships with all levels of management and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.


Added bonus if you have:

  • Considerable knowledge of all operations lifecycle phases, e.g., requirements definition, risk management, implementation, deployment, maintenance
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and integrated controls
  • Technical knowledge of information technology networks, systems, peripherals and software applications
  • Ability to formulate, implement and evaluate plans, programs and procedures applicable to the information processing operations
  • Proven ability to function in an environment that requires flexibility, good judgment and sound decision-making, often based on limited information and/or under extreme conditions
