ABOUT THE TEAM:

FIS is looking for an Business Transformation Process Lead to join our team. As a Business Transformation Process Lead, you will work with an exciting and collaborative team.

The FI Payments (FIP) Administration team is responsible for driving strategic initiatives for FIP.  They create and implement strategy to drive margin expansion via cost reduction, revenue increase, or efficiency building within the division. We balance time between short term goals and thoughtful go-forward strategy for optimizing operations with the lines of business and the leveraged functions.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Consultants, Business Process Analysts, and Solution Architects. In addition, you will lead process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Specializes in automation initiatives.

  • Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team.

  • Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc.

  • Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application.

  • Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision.

  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Requires strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills

  • Requires strong business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision, and executive presence

  • In-depth knowledge of FIS products and services and business operations

  • Requires high level of understanding FIS business systems and industry requirements.

  • General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices

  • Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations

  • Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management

  • Requires solid decision-making and problem solving skills

  • Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and management across technical and business functions across FIS as well as client/partner organizations

  • Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues

Senior management role. Highly experienced, typically manages activities of a broad functional area or department and is involved in the long term planning. May manage subordinate managers, supervisors as well as professional individual contributors.
