Position Description
The Analyst, Analytics & Insights will be responsible for assisting with marketing analytics programs and initiatives, including but not limited to company research, data integrity, project management and business intelligence. The successful candidate will provide outstanding support for Senior Management, Marketing Managers and related Target Account Programs. This role will develop and monitor dashboards and provides challenge, variety, and exposure to several areas of the business.
The position requires analytical skills and a “can do” attitude, with eagerness to learn new tools that may require coding in new languages - ie, SAQL (similar to SQL and Pig Latin Query Language) and R (similar to Python). Proactivity and personal communication skills are critical, as this role demands constant interaction with marketing managers, Salesforce.com and Tranzact developers, sales, and sales operations teams across the multiple business units of Zayo Group.
Responsibilities
Analyze sales and customer data to support marketing programs
Analyze effortless and customer survey data to support marketing programs
Support process improvement efforts and coordinate with IT resources to automate and simplify efforts
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track success for various programs
Proactive communication and updates on progress to both management and the organization through Salesforce Chatter
Partners with Marketing Managers and Sales to ensure data is accurate and up to date
Provides analysis and support for senior management requests related to marketing programs
Analyzes industry/peer data and makes recommendations for analysis and marketing programs based on that research
Assists in ad-hoc analytics/reporting requests
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree business analytics, operations, computer science, marketing, finance, business administration, or related degree required
Masters in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics or related field experience preferred
Strategic, analytical and program management skills.
Proficient with Google Suite
Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel
Introductory - Intermediate Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM tool.
Coding Requirements:
Intermediate/Advanced Excel - VBA (required)
Intermediate/Advanced SQL (required)
R/Python
Pig Latin Query Language/SAQL
Strong attention to detail.
