SalesForce Administrator
The Salesforce Administrator supports and develops applications for client tracking, quote to cash processes and reporting. This position is the liaison between GIS-CRM and management, Operations, Sales, Finance and users. This role troubleshoots and works with end-users to ensure that applications meet their needs and keep pace with changes in program operations, policies and/or procedures.
Responsibilities
- Daily administration and support of Salesforce database including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, minor customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules
- Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
- Facilitate the creation and documentation of the application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including program staff, programmers, strategic planning and analysis staff and/or outside consultants as needed
- Participate in the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, and coordinating actual software testing
- Staying current with Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements along with knowledge of front end best practices for lead and sales funnel management
- Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements
- Provide application users with technical support by serving as lead on Triage
- Logging and tracking identified system problems through resolution
- Creating and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as new features are developed
- Assist programmer with the development of technical documentation of existing and future applications
Skills & Experience

- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- 2 years Salesforce design and support
- Experience with Sales and Service Cloud including data integration experience via custom APIs
- Certified Salesforce Administrator (preferred)
- Experience with Service Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick)
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile or Scrum methodologies
