Every 5 seconds, another homeowner reaches out to HomeAdvisor to find a home service professional for their home maintenance, repair, or improvement project. Instant Booking Advisor
The instant booking team needs enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who will call out to our existing Service Professionals and "onboard" them, as well as reach out to them after an appointment is booked to ensure they have confirmed their appointments with homeowners while finding other areas of opportunity we can recommend our products. Our Instant Booking Advisors also reach out to our Homeowners to verify appointments or to help them find another Service Professional within our network.
Those who are finding success in the position have strong sales and customer service skills, as well as an ability to easily adapt to change.
Responsibilities:
Primary
* Outbound calling to Service Professionals to customize their Instant booking profile
* Profiling Service Professionals to ensure they are set up for success
* Addressing and reassuring Service Professionals needs and concerns
* Emphasizing or reiterating the benefits of the Instant Booking product to our Service Professionals
* Provide follow up with Service Professionals that have not confirmed their appointments
* Provide follow up with Homeowners that have booked appointments to ensure their needs are met
* Maximizing account value through turning leads on, expanding profiles, and raising spend targets
Required Experience:
What does it take to work here?
* Experience in a customer service or call center setting preferred
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to world class customer service
* Familiarity with home improvement projects or contractors is helpful, but not required
* Strong working knowledge of personal computers (use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Strong phone, typing or data entry skills required
* Self-Motivated
* Proven ability to multi task and critically think
* Adaptability
* Flexibility
* Proven ability to sell multiple products
* History of receiving coaching and implementing it immediately
* High School Diploma or GED required
In addition, you'll need to be able to:
* Work in a fast-paced, high energy call center environment without being distracted
* Sit or stand for an 8-hour shift
* Must be able to consistently work 40 hours/week
* Weekends are required--must be able to work Saturday and Sunday
* Hear and talk on a phone head/hand set
* Successfully pass a criminal background check
