Credentialing Specialist II
The Credentialing Specialist II - Financial and Legal Credentialing role provides excellent customer service to both internal and/or external customers to help them with products and services provided by GHX. This role provides administrative process support for routine, "behind the scenes" tasks. This position requires effective time management skills, thorough attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Sanction Check Queues (User, Principal, and Vendor) - Daily sanction check research on registered Users, Principals, and Vendors to ensure healthcare facilities are in compliance with relevant regulations
- Update/Maintain vendor identifying information (Tax ID, name, address, and phone number)
- Assist in processing EFX (Equifax) Queue - Map EFX IDs (financial snapshots) to vendors
- Assist in processing FEIN Check Queue - Verify vendor Tax IDs match IRS records at Registration
- Learn and communicate established processes
- Provide support by phone and/or email to internal and/or external customers
- Gather as much information as possible, disposition appropriately, and escalate to leadership when unsure
- Maintain and contribute to the team's reference and process materials
- Work with internal teams to deliver value to suppliers and providers and increase adoption of GHX's recommended practices

Required Skills:

- Internet savvy and computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong accountability and integrity due to sensitive nature of information
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of education and related healthcare experience
- Experience with healthcare supply chain
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
Estimated hourly compensation $16.50 - $20.60The base hourly range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
