About The Role:

As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in our growth as we build upon our success in delivering spend management solutions. You will also be the tip of the spear, helping with everything from go-to-market strategy to narrative creation.

Our vision is to become the best sales team in SaaS, and we’re looking for the next person who can help us achieve that vision.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle in our new business commercial market segment (up to 1,000 employee companies) from creating opportunities to progressing and closing them
  • Prospect and build pipeline (in partnership with a SDR) through outbound activities (emails, campaigns, calls, videos) and also manage inbound leads 
  • Build a strong point of view on prospective customer business challenges and tailor our solution to meet their specific needs and drive business outcomes.
  • Leverage strong product knowledge and sales skills to conduct compelling presentations to showcase the value of our solution
  • Exceed revenue and sales goals while maintaining strong pipeline coverage and an accurate forecast
  • Become a trusted advisor to prospects through honesty and empathy
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners (Marketing, Product, etc.) to uplevel how we attract and acquire customers
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies so you can leverage this to position our solution effectively 
  • Provide a world-class customer experience from the first conversation to the last
  • Participate in all Tropic cultural activities and find ways to enhance our company culture

What You've Done

  • 2-3 years in full-cycle sales at high-growth startups
  • Track record of high-performance
  • Experience with selling B2B SaaS products

Compensation

Specific to pay transparency laws, the minimum annual salary for this position is $95,000 and will also include commission, incentive pay, incentive stock options, and benefits. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and other business considerations.
