SuiteHop is high-growth, profitable scale-up looking for a seasoned sales professional who has excellent organization, management, client relationship skills to lead the Sales organization in delivery of all SuiteHop luxury suite services. Working from the Denver HQ, you will have the opportunity to serve as a member of the senior management team, develop and implement a sales strategy and new distribution channels, manage sales budgets and oversee client accounts.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            SuiteHop SuiteHop connects buyers and sellers of private suites at sporting and entertainment events in North America including NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, concerts, and special events. SuiteHop does so via an “access economy” technology platform that is the first dedicated online marketplace for  luxury suites. The VP Sales will have full run of the process and strategy for acquiring high-value corporate customers and for handling and scaling the demand that comes in from our website. He/she will have full control of the marketing campaigns that increase throughput to sales close as well as direct account approaches that maximize the company’s brand and recurring revenue opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Develop and implement account plans for corporate prospects/customers.

  • Build and manage new outside sales team responsible for acquiring national accounts

  • Manage and continue to scale inside sales team (existing)

  • Build and manage sales pipeline and revenue forecasting.

  • Successfully cultivate long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with both existing and new customers.

  • Involvement in various networking group activities, professional organizations, and the community in order to develop new leads and customers.

  • Research and approach potential new customers and markets.

  • Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new customers.

  • Manage all customer activity by use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool - Salesforce.com

  • Participate as part of Management team

  • Participate in planning and strategy sessions

  • Varying degrees and frequency of marketing activities including presentations, trade shows, and conferences

  • Create sales commission and incentive programs as necessary

  • Oversee the sales training program to ensure that salespeople are able to achieve set targets that support overall company revenue objectives

  • Provide mentoring to young and growing sales team

  • Monitor competitive and market activity and provide feedback and recommendations to executive team

  • Compile and review quantitative sales data and react rapidly to changing trends or new competitive threats and opportunities

  • Up to 35% travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of increasing sales and sales management experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience successfully implementing strategic sales solutions/P&L responsibility

  • Experience working with and selling top enterprise accounts

  • Experience managing both inside and account sales executives

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and drive, with the ability to persuade and inspire sales staff

  • Ability to effectively interact with other team members, most of whom are highly advanced IT technicians and programmers.
