Sales Operations Coordinator Job Summary:

As the Sales Administrator, you’ll assist the business development team by coordinating the administration and logistics of multiple Techstars corporate sponsor accounts.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Respond to all inbound inquiries for information about Techstars Corporate Partner programs in a timely manner
  • Log the inquiries into Business Development CRM system, Pipedrive
  • Conduct initial phone screenings with potential partners to gauge interest and gather important information
  • Prepare standardized materials package and send to interested parties in a timely manner (target <1 business day)
  • Update Pipedrive with relevant information gained through phone screenings
  • Route qualified opportunities to appropriate Business Development resource and set appointments based on availability
  • Coordinate the scheduling of face to face meetings with prospective customers.
  • Provide business development updates to the Techstars staff
  • Create and manage “drip content process” to regularly provide curated information to leads in the pipeline that are maintained in the “nurture” status.
  • Work closely with Vice President of Business development to coordinate the development of materials for other members of the Techstars staff.
  • Maintain Business Development master calendar and ensure to information is update appropriately.  

Desired Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced administrative role, with client facing or business development experience a plus
  • Highly ambitious, organized and self-directed
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Salesforce, Pipedrive or other sales CRM tools
  • Interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital
  • Fits the Techstars culture (people-oriented, adaptable, supportive, creative)
  • A Bachelor's degree (or commensurate experience) in Business, preferably marketing or business development
