Sales Account Manager

Summary of the Job:
Account Managers are the primary point of contact for business issues with our established customers. They develop and cultivate customer relationships. They are the person that customers contact every day to resolve problems, to get updates on ongoing platform development and to share all information regarding future planning and ad hoc needs. All of these activities have the purpose of efficiently and consistently satisfying our customers’ needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work with our customers and each of our departments to communicate our customers’ needs and to quickly resolve customer and operational issues.
Analyze processes and usage to prevent problems/issues and identify opportunity for additional expansion with in accounts.
Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure that the pricing policy established for the respective customer(s) is followed. Negotiate better pricing where applicable.
Plan to meet customer demands, as well as internal requirements from sales, operations, and fulfillment.
Troubleshoot issues. Promptly investigate any inquiries or concerns (scheduling, delivery, invoicing, etc.) that cannot be immediately resolved. Ensure effective resolution and interface with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
Participate in external (with customers present) and internal (without customers present) operational meetings
Prepare and often lead quarterly business review with customers.
Advise management on new/potential business opportunities with customers. Work with the Customer Account team to help bring on new accounts, ensuring they are properly set up
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of customer engagement experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related major is preferred.
Outstanding verbal & written communications and strong listening skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and service orientation skills, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
