Job Description

In this position you will lead the product strategy and roadmap for our publisher advertising products. You will leverage your expertise to build products that help solve important problems for thousands of mid-sized and smaller professional independent Publishers.

Responsibilities

• You must have a passion for reader engagement behaviors. This comes from hands-on experience as well as a natural curiosity for new trends and technologies including adtech, traffic acquisition, distribution into social platforms, and data management platforms.
• Be a vocal advocate for the Publisher and an active participant in the advertising and publisher community.
• Work with Sovrn leadership to develop products that are easy for Publishers to use and help them make more money.
• Partner with Product Marketing to ensure the messaging to Publishers clearly conveys the value and the impact Sovrn products can have on their business.

Qualifications

• Experience working for a Publisher in an revenue operations/leadership role, or within a Publisher-focused product role at a company similar to Sovrn.
• Track record of success in the eye of 1 or more Publishers, including in-depth expertise of the issues they face on a daily basis
• BS, Technical Degree or equivalent 
• Knowledge of the online advertising industry from the Publisher perspective.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Experience collaborating with diverse cross-functional groups to solve problems
