Inside Account Representative
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Solicits new customer opportunities through outbound calls, lead and opportunity management
- Qualifies and responds effectively to online buyer’s quotation requests via multiple venues
- Understands pending business opportunities funnel with win/loss tracking
- Understands the importance of excellent customer service, drives continuous improvement to both individual and team net promoter score (NPS) metrics
- Recognizes the positive effects of running a clean profitable business and works to minimize process issues
- Has a general knowledge of what the competition is doing in the market
- Utilizes influential relationships within Arrow’s internal support teams such as digital marketing, web development, asset, product marketing, OMT, etc.
- Uses multiple approaches and available tools to effectively resolve customer issues and provide effective solution
- Provides limited technical information and offers alternative buying solutions to online buyers utilizing all the tools available
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for product offerings
Actively develops new accounts by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, preparing quotations.
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
Identify key customer decision makers to include engineering, procurement, & operations.

Basic qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of related experience (inside sales, account management, material planning, buying or program management)
-Previous experience profiling customer accounts and providing competitive quotes to win business.
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, SalesForce.com, LivePerson or other chat software
-Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle several projects at one time
-Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Preferred qualifications:
-Previous online or industry sales experience
-International sales support
-College degree
-Previous experience in the electronics distribution business, electronics manufacturer, and customer care support
-Knowledgeable of Arrow sales and inventory management software
Must have a demonstrated aptitude for problem solving ability to determine solutions for customers. Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
