Who we are: We’re former student journalists turned adtech professionals backed by some of the best people in advertising.

Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for the 5^th member of our growing team. Job titles look silly at companies this small but, in a nutshell, we’re looking for someone to connect, onboard, and care for our member papers. Ideally, you’re way into journalism, great with people, professional but not rigid (we’re a startup after all), aggressive-yet-nurturing, and willing to do whatever it takes to help us grow.

What skills you’ll build: We’re going to throw the kitchen sink at you, and you’ll have unlimited opportunities to grow with us.

-           Sales. To sell is human and the most common byproduct of bringing on a new paper is a sincere thank you. It’s exhilarating.

-           Business development. We build innovative business models for the media industry, you’ll do lots of account management.

-           Internet savvy. Does that still need to be said? You’ll need to be super comfortable in social media and office productivity tools.

-           Communication. It’s key; from internal to-dos to external narratives.

-           Adaptability. Startuplandia is fraught with ambiguity and rapidly changing circumstances. We need someone who can adapt and optimize on the fly. You will be asked to do more than three humans, better than three humans.
