As the VP of Product for Daxko and our Denver-based subsidiary, Zen Planner, you will align and lead the long-term product vision across multiple platforms. This entails building a world-class team of product managers and user experience designers, and creating a culture of mentorship and growth. You’ll be responsible for driving modern forms of product discovery, roadmap planning, user research, and software delivery to provide the best products and user experiences. You will report directly to our CTO.

We’ll want you to…

• Establish company-level product strategy and vision.
• Partner with engineering to establish guidelines for the structure and best practices of highly flexible, scalable, outcome-focused scrum teams.
• Provide leadership to a team of product managers across multiple locations, brands, and verticals who are capable of defining new products that provide measurable value to customers. 

• Lead UX (User Experience) across the entire organization.
• Work cross-functionally to articulate business cases that show the return associated with investments we decide to make in our products.
• Develop and direct a high-performing product management team to align, drive and evangelize the product strategy across the entire organization.
• Develop and continuously communicate the product vision/roadmap to key executives, Board of Directors and across the broader organization.
• Work closely with the senior management team to ensure that development plans, resources, and strategies are coordinated across all teams in a cohesive and collaborative fashion. 
• Build a product management culture that balances product intuition, design inspiration, market insight, and data validation for creating delightful experiences.
• Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the customer, industry, competitors, and business.
• Provide facts-based competitive analysis to ensure that offerings provide superior capabilities when compared to the competition and are more effective than competitors’ products at meeting and anticipating the needs of the customer.


• Evangelize and socialize product strategy, vision and value proposition with internal and external stakeholders.

You Should Have:

• A history of strong leadership and driving change while maintaining a collaborative culture and team loyalty.
• Expertise on modern forms of product discovery, roadmap planning, user research, and software delivery.
• Expertise on establishing a business case for all products that justify resource requirements and expected results.
• A demonstrated record of launching successful SaaS products and proven delivery of a differentiated product experience.
• Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth.
• An analytical mindset and passion for software.
• The ability to teach, mentor, and develop rising talent cross-functionally.
• The ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stake-holders.
• 10+ years of product manager experience, working on fast growth SaaS business.
• The ability to work from our Birmingham or Denver office, and to travel as required, up to 25%.
• BA or BS degree.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), transparent in style.
• Accountability for clear articulation and execution of product strategy, including board-level advocacy of product vision and strategy, as well as periodic updates on plans and key performance indicators.
