Sr. Software Engineer - Front End
Moov is the payments processor devoted to delighting users. We help software companies add money movement to their products, letting the end-user drive how they pay and get paid.
As a Sr. Software Engineer - Front End of the Moov team, you’ll build tools to make developers integrating with Moov more productive. You will build new and improve existing banking and payment experiences that customers depend on every day.
You will:
Work on next-generation financial products
Design and build web apps using JavaScript, CSS, and TypeScript
Own the full release lifecycle from feature development, to testing, to production deploys
Assist support staff in triaging and solving customer issues
Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers, business development, and company leadership to solve problems and plan for the future
Contribute to documentation of the system
Other duties as assigned by Moov and/or your manager
You have:
Expert knowledge and experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS
5 + years experience building and shipping high-quality production web apps
Experience writing reusable and composable UI components
Experience writing unit, integration and E2E tests
A desire to perform and grow as an engineer
The ability to design seemingly simple and creative solutions to complex problems
Experience developing SDKs or frameworks would be a plus

Salary range: $140k to $160k based on experience, geography, and other key factors

If you’re nervous about not meeting every qualification above, apply anyway. Moov is all about pushing boundaries—ours, yours, and the industry’s—so we look for curious people willing to experiment and grow.
