Rank One Computing ROC is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to support end-user product development of computer vision based biometric and analytic solutions. In this role you will directly support bleeding-edge feature development for a wide variety of customers including those in Military, Law Enforcement, School Safety, Financial Services, Healthcare, Commercial/Retail, and more.
ROC is a cutting-edge developer of AI/ML guided biometric, compute vision, and video analytic technologies. Our core offering, the ROC SDK, provides algorithms that are industry-leading in combined efficiency and accuracy, which excel in mobile, edge and server environments.
As a full-stack software engineer you will assist in developing our suite of ROC products including:
- ROC Watch, a video analytics system that enables users to apply ROC’s computer vision algorithms (including face, person, vehicle, license plate, weapons, etc) against video sources.
- ROC Watch Edge, Edge based analytic solutions processed on Android or iOS devices.
- ROC Examine, a forensic facial examination workstation software allowing a hybrid of both manual and automated facial comparison.
- ROC Enroll , an identity verification platform.
- Or future ROC solutions and products.
Ideal traits for this role are:
- Experience with agile product development lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate equally well with software developers, business developers, marketing personnel, and executives.
- Dedicates time to customer interaction and understanding evolving customer needs.
Education Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science or relevant field
Work Location:

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Professional experience in HTML / CSS / JS / Node.js / MongoDB
- Experience Docker and AWS
- 2+ years experience developing software systems in a professional environment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Self-starter who takes initiative and gets the job done without close supervision
- Experience with Vue.js is a plus.
- Experience with Streaming video and/or Computer Vision solutions is a plus.
