Position Summary:

Come, take a look behind the curtain. At Pax8, we are always innovating and seeking new ways to approach our work. Our software teams consistently evaluate our methodologies, development procedures, design processes, and more. As a Senior Software Engineer on our Platform Team, you will play a pivotal role in paving the way for innovation within our Software Engineering teams. Your contributions will introduce new development technologies and methods to our continuously expanding engineering and product teams, enhancing efficiencies and product quality in the Pax8 Platform marketplace.

In this role, you will make a 180-degree turn, examining our internal development processes and assisting our groups in enhancing our development practices. You will immerse yourself in a unique position where you'll introduce and pilot new technologies, methods, and processes to our Product and Engineering teams. A current example of this initiative is our adoption of microservices, and you will play a key role in driving its implementation and introducing it to our other Engineering groups.

To thrive in this role, you must first be well-versed in our frontend tech stack, which includes JavaScript and Vue in an AWS environment. Micro-frontend experience is highly desired, as it aligns with our current initiatives, and you would be taking the lead on this aspect. Comfort and experience in working within a fast-paced Agile environment are essential. Given the dynamic nature of Pax8, you will be able to work efficiently and deliver products rapidly. As a crucial contributor, you will actively participate in the discovery and development of improvements, fostering open communication with your team and other internal stakeholders. If you have a passion for cutting-edge technology and the drive to elevate teams to the next level of development, this position is tailor-made for you.
