The Senior HR Generalist will support onsite client groups in a vast range of general HR activities with a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and onboarding. Successful candidates will be flexible, adaptable, open to new ideas, and able to roll up their sleeves to contribute to a winning team.

How will you make a difference?

  • Supports people managers in solving people related business challenges by providing guidance on conversations with employees including performance management, disciplinary matters, investigations, employee relations, and potential legal issues
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Builds relationships with employees with multiple touchpoints in employment lifecycle: onboarding, 30/60/90s, recognition, engagement, and company events
  • Assists with maintaining all necessary employment records and files including personnel, I-9, medical, leave of absence and training records
  • Administers Workday Learning Management System, LinkedIn Learning, and secondary support to Gogo's Safety Sensitive program
  • Participates in the development and implementation of HR initiatives by collaborating across HR team on process improvements and special projects
  • Provides support for employee resignations and terminations through confirming logistics, completing exit interviews, ensuring that employees are exited smoothly and reporting on trends for employee departures
  • Presents to employees on various people-related topics and associated tools in small group format or online learning modules


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, a related degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4-7 years related HR experience working in a fast growing, technology-oriented organization
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI
  • Willing to be in the office Monday through Friday


Required Knowledge, Skills & Talents

  • Working knowledge of employment law and their impact on HR matters
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (i.e., Power Point, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage confidential information
  • Ability to partner within and outside of HR with a keen ability to develop trust
  • Skilled in delivering difficult messages with sensitivity and tact
  • Experience with HR Systems: HRIS (Workday preferred), recognition and learning management platforms

  • Experience delivering training while leveraging multiple methods and delivery modes
  • Results-oriented and hands-on approach
  • Effective problem-solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Previous experience supporting an international employee population
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize on short notice and to work in a fast-paced organization


Equal Pay Disclosure(s)
Base Pay:
76,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
Eligible for Incentive Stock Program:
