Overview
The CoE Solutions Consultant will function as part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) team in customer-facing role (in both pre-sales and post-sales capacity) requiring experience in data and analytics and will be accountable for the technical selling of the Alteryx platform, technical enablement, and thought leadership. The SC will aim to improve the customer experience, deliver increased functionality, and simplify the architecture, while ensuring a compliant and secure landscape for Alteryx customers to drive business value.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Based on discovery you will develop, recommend and execute technical proofs that align with customer business initiatives and solve problems while delivering a value proposition
  • Identify and resolve critical business/technical issues
  • Advise prospects on the kinds of data they should be collecting to produce their desired results
  • Scope and lead hands-on evaluations with customers to ensure they are effectively learning and engaging with the platform
  • Become an in-house expert in Alteryx data science machine learning (DSML) products and stay up to date on product releases and new features, assist in training new hires, and other team members
  • Drive the Alteryx product roadmap forward by sharing product feedback and new requirements from the field back to the product management team
  • Be the go-to expert for potential and existing customers to understand the use-cases that can be implemented with Alteryx, and effectively grow accounts towards upsell and new business
  • Be a critical member of the sales team, a leader, coach, and a trusted advisor for prospects
  • Act as a technical leader for the Alteryx platform and assist with troubleshooting production issues as needed
  • Develop deep knowledge of all Alteryx products and capabilities both technically and on messaging
  • Demonstrate solutions in Alteryx leveraging data science and analytics with engaging storytelling and technical accuracy
  • Provide pre-sales and CSM post-sales support for pre-qualified opportunities for all products in the Alteryx platform


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field
  • Looking for domain knowledge in one or more disciplines of data engineering, data science and machine learning (DSML), or visualization
  • Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques and concepts
  • Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI models
  • Programming and troubleshooting knowledge in Python and/or R
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Experience working with analytics tools, databases, model operations, model deployment, and data visualization tools
  • Experience working with data in Hadoop and/or Spark ecosystem
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Advanced relationship management and communication skills, including partnering with senior leaders
