Sales Operations Manager
Rachio is a mission-based startup in downtown Denver that is focused on changing the way people engage with and think about water. Over the past four years, Rachio has established itself as the leader in smart home water, using residential irrigation as the key entry point.
Rachio is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to serve as our Salesforce expert and the primary resource for delivering accurate reporting, analytics, customer data, forecasting and performance metrics across the organization. This is a key role designed to improve our selling processes to help drive predictable sales performance and achieve revenue targets. This individual must be able to navigate the dynamics and culture of a fast paced, growing sales team. In addition, the Sales Operations Manager will regularly interpret and report sales data throughout the organization, requiring effective cross functional communication with marketing, finance, operations, customer success, and most importantly our customers. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work independently to issue reports in a timely manner and translate sales data into actionable deliverables.

Responsibilities:
Manage and develop Salesforce processes and reporting. Configure Salesforce for individual teams to ensure effective sales processes and funnel management.
Create, run, and analyze reports to inform data-based recommendations
Establish processes, workflows, and reporting to support sales development
Monitor accuracy of forecasts and visibility throughout the organization while ensuring that data is reported in a timely manner
Maintain the accuracy of operational data for National Accounts, including product, pricing and fulfillment requirements. Liaise with operations to identify gaps and decrease operational friction for the sales team
Work closely with Director of Retail to support retailer needs around item set-up, online product execution, and data requirements
Work with the sales team and VP of Sales to identify new tools to promote better efficiency for the team
Support sales contract negotiation and management
Handle special projects, including but not limited to trade show execution, in-store retail events, product knowledge / training sessions, and recruiting
Qualifications:
3-5 years of documented sales operations experience with a heavy focus on supporting a sales team growth and expansion through data and process
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Salesforce
Documented experience in a customer facing role, supporting multiple sales personnel
Definable project management experience with supporting examples of success driving new processes and programs within a sales organization
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Preferred Experience:
Previous work and/or involvement in an early-stage company
Experience selling a technical product
IoT, software and/or mobile app product experience
