Sales Operations Analyst
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Udemy Business (UB) GTM Strategy & Operations team’s mission is to enable all go-to-market teams to scale and grow top-line revenue efficiently. The team supports our mission by delivering the process and information flows that drive the entire customer journey optimization, promoting cross-functional alignment, overseeing resource and performance planning, refining key processes to increase efficiencies, and adopting best-in-class tools and technologies to support the entire UB go-to-market universe from lead generation to customer invoicing.
As part of this team, this role will have a significant impact with responsibilities for the process and information flows that drive the entire customer lifecycle. This position will require you to understand Udemy Business in order to redefine key processes, increase efficiencies, and help deploy best-in-breed systems. This team member contributes directly to scaling strategies and GTM teams to grow top-line revenue efficiently.
Success looks like getting deep into the business needs and data so you can implement the vital processes and tools that advance our GTM strategy. It looks like noticing the gaps in our knowledge and building a plan to fill those gaps and proactively collaborating on solutions.

Along with curiosity and drive, this role requires a basic understanding of SaaS and a desire to gain experience in Sales Operations and/or Go-To-Market Operations. The right person for this role understands how impactful data can be in setting the right strategy, and how important smooth operations are to executing that strategy.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Design and implement methods for signaling sales opportunity and risk
- Maintaining on-going territory and customer health analytics
- Working with various tools optimize data hygiene in order to help measure addressable markets and sales segmentation
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, quantify impacts, and communicate results
- Providing operational support to sales leaders and sales reps via Slack, SFDC, video calls
- Act as a trusted thought partner to a range of cross-functional stakeholders across Udemy including Sales, Data Analytics, Business Systems, and other GTM teams
- Assist in developing and project managing sales strategies and initiatives required to drive productivity in a competitive, multi-product business environment
- Conduct analysis to identify areas for process improvement and work cross-functionally for continual optimization
We’re excited about you because you have:
- 5+ years experience in SaaS Sales Operations, GTM Operations and/or business analytics
- An understanding of a B2B sales motion
- Salesforce knowledge: complex dashboards and reports, custom report types, calculated fields, workflows.
- Experience working with GTM tools such as Clari, Salesloft, Zoominfo, Dun & Bradstreet, Looker, etc.
- Strong quantitative and MS Excel skills (sumifs, index/match and vlookup, table formulas).
- Experience working closely with leaders and sellers in a SaaS B2B business
- Get-it-done mindset. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.
- A ‘what’s best for the business’ attitude, and willing to try new things, tackle complex projects and challenges
- Strong analytical skills to work on complex business issues with some supervision
Minimum Salary: $87,000 - $95,000 + Equity + Benefits (See Below)
