Job Description
The Sales Operations Analyst role is responsible for providing support services to the Sales and Customer Success Teams in the execution, of the sales process and opportunities. You will also partner with the Sales teams, as well as Channel and Customer Success teams with CPQ, policy interpretation and enforcement, process training, and documentation.
The role requires you to assess and learn quickly, pick up new concepts, and develop processes per business needs while adapting to rapid changes in the growing channel business and maintaining a positive attitude and upbeat outlook in a rapidly changing environment. Strong customer facing experience and being proactively driven with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment are key success drivers for the Sales Operations Analyst.
This position will additionally partner with the business systems team to understand the regional business challenges they are facing, work with them to identify the best ways to remove obstacles and boost productivity. Dig deep into the current processes, issues, and systems set up, to identify, analyze and propose viable alternatives to the current state.
Responsibilities:
Provide global operational support to a 100+ person Sales and Customer Success team
Highly organized team player who is passionate about partnering with our Sales and Customer Success teams to close deals, optimize process and implement best practices
Collaborate to identify acceptable customer and company procedures to facilitate deal closure and provide suggestions for improvements to streamline the process.
Assist operations leadership with process definitions, process documentation, execution & operational issue analysis
Develop training resources on Salesforce.com, Sales Process, Sales Tools, and ensure processes and policies are documented and implemented effectively within the team
Monitor Salesforce data quality and run cleanup projects as necessary to ensure data integrity
Manage scheduled and ad-hoc reporting of account and opportunity lists, funnel and pipeline reporting, and other success metrics identified by the business
Manage operational enablement of new projects, product and pricing updates, and Sales and Customer Success initiatives
Manage a Sales Operations Support Request Queue of incoming requests from the internal organization and provide timely responses
Coordinate prioritization discussions with sales operations, Customer Success, and our business systems team
Complete ad hoc projects and analysis as required
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ year of experience working directly with Sales, Sales Operations, or Field Sales Leaders
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Prior experience with business and data analysis
Experience with Salesforce/ related CRM platform
Advanced knowledge of sales processes
Experience with Salesforce reporting skills
Proven track record leading small to medium sized projects and initiatives from requirements to go-live
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
