The Behavioral Health Business Unit of EverCommerce is looking for an experienced and passionate sales professional to drive revenue as an individual contributor and help build out and then lead our sales department. In this player/coach type of position, you’ll report directly to the Director of Business Operations, with a dotted line report to the President and be responsible for selling our products at a high level, as an individual contributor, and then building and leading a sales department to achieve our revenue goals within a highly-energetic sales environment that you establish. This role requires excellent business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, a powerful drive to advance your career and the ability to collaborate with peers across the organization. Your main objective will be to drive sales revenue directly through your sales activity, while building the sales systems and operations foundation for a sales department, and then grow and scale the sales department and the revenue it generates.

This Opportunity:
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join the behavioral health business unit of EverCommerce. This position is a player / coach role, best suited for someone who has conquered the challenges of being an individual sales contributor over the last few years. This person is eager to take the next step in advancing their sales career by learning how to build a sales department and grow their sales management skill set. They will sell a dynamic set of products, and become the driving force behind a sales department that will continue to scale as we expand our lead volume primarily through online marketing and cross-sell channels. They will also make a positive impact in the mental health sphere by helping behavioral health professionals through superior digital marketing and software solutions. 

Where:
The EverCommerce Behavioral Health business unit is headquartered in the heart of LoDo Denver, with offices also located in Olympia, WA. Our collaborative, open-plan office space is filled with high-energy, talented people who enjoy their work and each other's company. This position will be located in the Denver office.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director of Business Operations and the company president to drive growth and scale revenue generation efforts in a consistent and iterative manner. 
  • Reach out to prequalified small to mid-sized businesses to present, promote, and sell our software and digital marketing solutions.
  • Perform online software demonstrations. 
  • Strategic follow up with potential customers.
  • After initial individual sales goals are consistently achieved and successful mentoring happens, lead the recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, and management of a sales team that you lead and build, improving their sales skills through all aspects of the sales funnel.
  • Once foundation built, mentor future Sales Account Executives team members, with focus to grow into sales management and leadership.
  • Achieve agreed upon individual and team sales targets and MRR goals.
  • Take full ownership of the build- out and management of sales operations within the company infrastructure.
  • Create & implement inbound and outbound sales strategy best practices and continually strive to improve the effectiveness of the sales department. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Support, Operations and other teams to achieve company acquisition goals. 
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting metrics to evaluate progress and identify challenges to drive decision making and performance. 
  • Develop and manage sales department budgets, compensation, and expenses.

Experience, Skills & Requirements:

  • 4+ years of sales experience in inbound and outboard sales within a high-velocity sales environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding both individual and team sales goals.
  • Passionate drive to learn about hiring and scaling a sales organization effectively, including managing sales representatives.
  • Strong desire to learn how to manage and lead a dynamic and diverse sales and revenue generation team with a focus on continually driving improved performance through hands-on, day-to-day management.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats, switch gears, and roll up your sleeves, as this is a hands-on position as well as a strategic growth position.
  • Desire to create and try new strategies driving ideas from concept to execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work interdepartmentally.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other similar CRM’s is required.
  • Experience in software and/or digital marketing sales is required. 
  • Well organized and can effectively manage multiple projects at once.
  • You must be curious and be willing to put in the extra time and effort needed to develop new skills quickly and to take advantage of this career growth opportunity.
  • You must have the ability to show us a clearly documented track record of meeting and exceeding individual and/or team sales quotas.
