The Sales Development Representative is a member of the Crownpeak Sales organization, responsible for collaborating with the Sales Managers to sell cloud based web content management software.   As the market leader in SaaS web content management and optimization solutions, Crownpeak is a continuously expanding organization seeking talented and innovative individuals to join its team.

Major Accountabilities

  • Engage with prospects using a unique cold calling approach and thoughtful, compelling emails, maintaining a high volume of outbound activity
  • Research high level details about customers, including key business challenges, solutions delivered and tangible results, to build credibility with new prospects
  • Monitor website visitors and social media and respond with proactive executive level outreach to companies that exhibit interest
  • Build actionable account penetration plans in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager, Account Executives and Sales teams
  • Keep up-to-date information in Salesforce.com on accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities, events, campaigns and quotes
  • Develop new leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities as you make new contacts
  • Respond aggressively to inbound marketing leads, while also targeting the same organizations with proactive sales outreach
  • Work with the Inside Sales Manager to develop sales scripts and guides that enhance the team’s productivity
  • Attend trade shows as needed in your assigned geographical territory
  • Utilize social media platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Data.com to build your business
  • 1 year of sales experience, with concentration on Business or Sales Development
  • Strong phone presence and ability to make outbound phone calls to generate new business
  • Aptitude to grasp technical concepts and relate them to prospects in a simplified business language
  • Intense curiosity about prospects business challenges
  • Desire to win, and work for a winning organization
  • Excellence in written communication, especially B2B email
  • High motivation - will do whatever it takes to ensure customer and company success
  • Self-disciplined, great time management skills and the ability to work under limited supervision
  • Experience in a software, service and consultative environment

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Basic knowledge of the legal industry
  • LinkedIn Account user
