Job Summary:


We are looking for a Commercial and Residential Development Sales Associate to join our business development team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for developing key relationships with residential home builders, multi-family commercial developers (apartment, condominium, etc.) and property management companies. This individual must have a deep knowledge of the residential and multi-family commercial industry having worked for or with regional and/or national residential builders and/or commercial owners and managers. In addition, this individual must have a passion for smart home Internet of Things (IOT) technologies and recognize the opportunity for IOT to impact the residential and multi-family commercial development  industry and their relationship with homeowners and tenants.

This Sale Associate will report to Notion’s VP of Business Development and work closely with other internal stakeholders to help Notion grow awareness, revenue and distribution in the residential and commercial development sector.


Responsibilities:


▪ Prospect and source new business in the residential and multi-family commercial development industry
▪ Prospect daily for sales leads with the goal of securing meetings and closed sales
▪ Build trust and cultivate solid relationships with prospects and customers in the industry
▪ Attend networking and industry events
▪ Conduct general and specific market research pertaining to technology and development trends in the industry
▪ Identify key business differentiators in each sector in the industry
▪ Develop solutions that meet the business goals of the customer
▪ Analyze and recommend new sales strategies


Requirements:

▪ 5+ years of sales, marketing, project management and/or purchasing experience in the residential and/or commercial development industry with national and/or regional owners, developers and/or property management companies
▪ A thorough understanding of the technology acquisition and purchasing process in the industry
▪ A network of industry contacts including at the executive and senior executive levels within each sector in the industry
▪ Previous sales experience in the industry with a track record of winning business (a plus)
▪ Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
▪ Entrepreneurial spirit and drive

 

Compensation:

Base Salary + Commission Structure + Equity + Benefits
