The Position  This position involves constant communication with prospective customers by email and phone. The successful candidate will be technically savvy, self-motivated, conscientious of customers’ needs, energetic and enthusiastic about building the sales team’s impact.  You need to know when to listen, and when to concisely and clearly provide information about our product and onboarding services. While the sales approach is largely educational and consultative, you must be ready to ask for the meeting, and ask for the “close" when the time is right.

Primary activities include:

  • Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up other leads generated by our marketing activities.

  • Perform outbound business development/prospecting for new leads. Find decision-makers and engage with them in the consultative sales process.

  • Qualify the prospect for engagement in sales consultation and product demonstrations.

  • Schedule sales calls and online consultations.

  • Reply to customer questions via email and phone calls. Provide supporting information.

  • Perform online consultations and demonstrate the use of Gingr software using online meeting tools such as Join.me.

  • Record all activities in the CRM. Report activities and results to manager.

  • Maintain and manage prospective customer use of the demo software.

  • Travel to represent Gingr at trade shows (3-4 times per year).

 

Required Skills

  • Must have a passion for small businesses and SaaS technology solutions.

  • Must have passion for consultative sales and must be highly motivated to succeed.

  • Must be a team player able to work with others toward accomplishing goals.

  • Experience in sales roles, business to business preferred.

  • Excellent oral and telephone communication skills.

  • Skills necessary to type quickly and accurately, use software, & update CRM system.

  • Experience in software industry preferred.

  • Knowledge of pet-care industry is a plus.

  • Some college work, degree preferred.

 

Compensation: Base salary plus commission. Paid holidays and vacation, retirement fund contributions, medical benefits and other meaningful benefits included. Pet-friendly office, frequently work-from-home.
