How you'll make an impact

As the coordinator of this cross-functional team, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support to the Americas Partner Relations team. This dynamic group includes both the Education and Partner Channel Programs teams. Your expertise and steady nature will help us achieve our mission of transforming the Americas accounting and bookkeeping profession by improving the lives of the people within in it.
This is a contract position through mid-July.

How you'll contribute to the business

The Xero story is more powerful when seen through the eyes of the Partners who use it to succeed. Providing support and real time data to the Partner Relations team will allow us all to amplifying our partner's voices and give them an opportunity to grow while simultaneously bringing new Partners into the family, where the cycle continues.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate departmental and cross-functional scheduling.
  • Maintain multiple budgets and coordinate contractor SOWs and POs.
  • Compile weekly/monthly statistics & reporting.
  • Plan meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Respond to inquiries ('cases') from partners and customers.
  • Advise and assist key personnel focussed on process automation.
  • Maintain administrative workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions and developing reporting procedures.
  • Provide general administration support to the Partner Relations team and approved third party contractors.

Success looks like

  • Tasks are completed with a high standard and in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide fast, efficient and accurate deliverables within the department, cross-departmentally and internationally.
  • An increase in the quality and satisfaction of our customer's experience when interacting with the Partner Relations team.
  • Turnaround time for customer cases meet or exceed targets set.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests from Partner Relations team and approved third-party contractors.
  • Meet or exceed personal, departmental and organizational achievement goals.

What you'll bring with you

  • 5 - 7 years of proven experience as an departmental coordinator, administrative assistant or virtual assistant.
  • Understanding of departmental budgeting and reporting.
  • Detail oriented, work with a high degree of accuracy and follow up.
  • Proven success in raising the visibility and awareness of solutions in relevant communities and building strategic relationships.
  • Business development/customer relationship experience.
  • Excellent customer service and people skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, multitask and meet changing deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and software knowledge, including GSuite and Excel.
  • Process driven.
  • Out of the box thinker, always ready to bring new ideas to test.
  • Passion and desire to make a difference and contribute as a member of a dynamic team.
