The Inside Sales Representative will:
Participate with the sales team in day-to-day tasks that support the overall goals of the company. Specifically:

Respond to Customer Inquiries:
Handle incoming sales calls, emails, and chat requests to identify customer needs and provide the best solution based on the client’s IT environment and/or stated goals.

Generate Quotes:
Assist the sales team in generating quotes based on client requirements. Follow up on existing quotes for approval. Communicate with internal and external users post-approval to facilitate purchase flow and manage expectations.

Uncover New Opportunities:
Make outbound sales calls to established leads from sources including telemarketing leads, web leads, trade show leads, and marketing leads. Mine current contact database for unrealized sales potential and cultivate current customer relationships for return-business opportunities.

Requirements:
Technical

  • 2+ years experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields required
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) strongly desired
  • Data Center IT and Infrastructure experience a plus
  • A 4-year College degree is preferred, but successful high-tech product sales experience will be considered

Personal

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to build rapport with clients a must
  • Self-motivated, fast learner with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, adaptable, and able to function well in a team environment
  • Deadline and detail-oriented with strong negotiation skills
