Historically Shinesty has earned 100% of its revenue from direct-to-consumer e-commerce. Shinesty’s wholesale and corporate custom business is relatively new, but it represents a huge opportunity. The Director of Sales will be responsible for building the wholesale sales function from the ground up. This includes building a sales process, developing KPIs, managing a CRM and related reporting, managing and building a sales team, and achieving revenue and profit targets for this side of the Shinesty business.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Hit or exceed annual sales targets. 
  • Develop a selling process or sales playbook for the sales team.
  • Build the sales team from the ground up. This includes recruiting, hiring, coaching, and mentoring existing and future team members. 
  • Select, implement, and optimize CRM and related reporting.
  • Use KPIs to track leading indicators of team performance and manage sales funnel.
  • Create and monitor actionable goals which accomplish sales objectives.
  • Partner with internal departments to develop and execute programs that support sales initiatives and objectives. 
  • Train and develop sales representatives to oversee relationships with clients to identify needs and to obtain feedback on the performance of new or existing products.
  • Assist when necessary on development of major clients and relationship management.
  • Work with COO to develop long term sales strategy and business plan for the wholesale and corporate custom business line.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of sales experience with demonstrated track record of over-achievement
  • Minimum 3 years experience running and building a sales team
  • Proven ability to develop and initiate strategies for revenue and client growth
  • Strong understanding of sales methodology 
  • Manage a team of sales reps and support staff
